Screen printing is one of the early methods of printing. It involves the passing of ink(s) through a mesh or 'screen' that has been stretched on a frame, which a stencil has been applied . The stencil openings determine the image that will be imprinted.
Vector images are made up of many individual, scalable objects. These objects are defined by mathematical equations rather than pixels, so they always render the highest quality. Objects may consist of lines, curves, and shapes with editable attributes. You can freely change any number of attributes or transform the objects without destroying the basic object.
Fees associated with the costs of building your design to a screen. Fees are $13 per screen.
Cataloging is storing your screens with imprinted stencil. We do not offer cataloging of screens because the chemicals used to clean the ink from the screen deteriorates the "stencil" and damages the quality of future prints. Instead we offer cataloging of your positive. Before the stencil is exposed to the screen's mesh, it is printed on a positive, which we can catalog for you.
Yes, we do charge a reprint/reorder fee. Because we do not catalog screens, we reclaim (reuse) our screens as soon as an order is completed. Reclaiming helps lower our overhead costs, which in turn passes savings to our customers. Our reprint/reorder fee is $10 per screen per color. We charge reprint/reorder for the following reasons: printer must test ink(s), alignment, and restart all equipment necessary to complete an order. Deadline for reprint/reorders is two weeks (must be same design), otherwise screens will be charged in full according to order processed.
Yes. You may use different ink colors in one job. If the design remains the same, ink color changes are $5 each per color.
Example: Quantity of shirts ordered is 20. You need 10 dark colored garments, and 10 light colored garments with the exact same design but different ink colors. The dark color garment is printed with a light color ink and the light garment is printed with a dark color ink.
Yes, but we do not recommend it. Due to circumstances beyond our control or old fashion 'mistakes', We always account for spoilage and order additional garments for replacement. When supplying your own garments the customer accepts the risk of spoilage. In the event that spoilage does occur does not accept liability.
